Rana Hospital made in to LIMCA BOOK OF RECORDS for operating 391 piles patients on 27th Oct,2013.
A free mega piles operation camp was organized on 27 October 2013 (Sunday) in association with Vishav Jagriti Mission and Rotary Club, Sirhind, started at 8.40 A.M and finished at 5.25 P.M, 391 patients were operated in 8 hours, 45 minutes without any break by Dr. Hitender Suri, B.A.M.S (Gold Medalist), C.C.K.S (I.P.G.T & R.A), born on 3rd March, 1977 in Sirhind-140406, Punjab, India.
Lowest age of operated patient was 7 years, 2 were of 10 year age and highest age of operated patient was 80 years, 391 number of patients came from 9 states(Punjab,U.P,Bihar.M.P,Haryana,Chandigarh,Bangal,H.P,Rajsthan), 372 from Punjab 19 No. of patients came from other states. In total there were people from nine states. Out of 391 patients 246 were males and 145 were females. Out of 391 patients maximum patients were from age group 31-40 and after that from 40-50 which clearly depicts that this disease is very common in age group from 30 year onwards.
Dr. Hitender Suri, B.A.M.S (Gold Medalist), C.C.K.S (I.P.G.T & R.A) has developed technique called RIKT (Research based innovative kshar sutra technique) the technique is effective in all stages of piles and it is effective in fissure and fistula as well, patient does not need spinal anesthesia, No need of admission, It is a day care surgery, no post operative dressing .

Jagdish Verma, President Sarvhitkari Vidya Mandir, C.A Ashwani Garg, President Vishav Jagrti Mission, C.A Ashok Garg, President Rotary Club were present along with them.
An Indian doctor has performed 137 cases of piles in one day (15 hours) on Oct 28, 2007 in a free piles surgery camp setting world record for the most successful piles surgeries in one day.
Dr. Hitender Suri operated 391 cases in 8 hours 45 minutes setting a new world record for the maximum no. of piles cases operated in a day (8 hours 45 minutes) without any break. For the first time in whole world we set a new benchmark by operating maximum patients 391 in number in minimum time 8 hours 45 minutes.
Before operation camp a registration camp was organized on 24.10.2013 in which a mass awareness campaign was run to make people aware that symptoms of piles and rectal cancer match. One should not ignore bleeding per rectum and get it diagnosed as early as possible. Early diagnosis can save many lives.
Highlights of camp by Dr. Hitender Suri, B.A.M.S (Gold Medalist), C.C.K.S (I.P.G.T & R.A) 391 piles cases were done in record time of 8 hours 45 minutes without any complication on 27 Oct 2013. 2 patients after procedure had mild discomfort pain and nausea they were admitted for an hour and managed conservatively and were discharged in satisfactory condition.
RIKT (Research based innovative kshar sutra technique) technique saves time and money. patients are very happy after treatment and can be discharged immediately after procedure, no need of any admission.
Dr. Hitender Suri started this piles operation camp from awareness campaign to highlight that many symptoms of piles and cancer patients match registering 717 patient and diagnosing 442 patients of piles on 24.10.2013 out of which a case of rectal CA was found 428 selected for operation finally 391 patients were operated setting a world record.
