Strange Fact about Bidet/Self wash
( A jet used to clean after passing stool, almost in all medium category washrroms.)
Firstly, some studies have demonstrated that when bidets are used repeatedly they have caused some anal damage and pain, especially when high pressure narrow jets are used. Anal fissure, mucosa or sphincter injury and mucosal prolapse syndrome are all possible side effects of prolonged high pressure bidet use.
Secondly, although increased cleansing can be cited as a benefit, it has been noted that, for women, repeated use of a bidet can upset the natural micro flora in the vagina and cause bacterial vaginitis. Surprisingly, the levels of faecal bacteria and other pathogens found in the vaginal area of bidet users are actually higher than in non-bidet users, suggesting that the bidet may in fact be much less sanitary than commonly thought.
Thirdly, there are some physical injuries that can be obtained from bidet usage. Severe burning of the genital and perianal regions from scolding water is possible, and burns are particularly common in the elderly who have reduced anal temperature sensitivity. Injuries from ceramic bidets that break during use have also been reported. This is particularly worrying for older generations who are more susceptible to complications from minor physical injuries. Injury from broken bidets may become more prevalent as the average weight of a bidet user increases. Bidets will need to be built to withstand higher weight loads from heavier users to make sure they are safe from failure. Practical design solutions, for example installing temperature control systems, may also be needed to ensure safe and efficient use for elderly users who have more difficulties when using a bidet and who are more at risk from bidet injuries.
Most of all, bidet is banned in Canada, American and European Countries. We will not find bidet/Self wash in places like Airport, Five Star Hotels or Resorts at International level.
